Development of galvanized seamless steel pipes

After acid pickling of API seamless steel pipes, they are mostly cleaned in a tank with ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or a mixture of ammonium chloride and zinc chloride aqueous solution to ensure quality, and most do not use electro galvanizing (cold plating). Only small enterprises with outdated equipment and small scale use electrogalvanizing, and of course, their prices are relatively cheaper. It is the reaction between molten metal and iron matrix to produce an alloy layer, thereby combining the matrix and coating. Hot dip galvanizing is the process of pickling steel pipes to remove iron oxide from their surface, and then feeding them into a hot dip galvanizing bath. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion, and long service life.
